About
Melissa Haviland is an artist printmaker living in Athens, Ohio. She received her MFA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and BFA from Illinois State University. Currently, she teaches printmaking, drawing, and papermaking at Ohio University. Melissa has been an art educator for six years, also teaching at: the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill in Truro, Massachusetts; University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Lincoln, Nebraska; Metropolitan Community College in Elkhorn, Nebraska; and Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois.
Her Work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally.
