For Best

In the endurance performance, “For Best”, Haviland & Colagiovanni balanced 7 sets of china on their head or on a platter while walking a balance beam. Pieces would eventually fall as the couple stacked them higher and higher–until all the china was broken. “For Best” was performed over 3.5 hours at 621 Gallery in Tallahassee, Florida in February 2013.
